It
looks
like
the
TV
show
Satyamev
Jayate
is
bringing
a
lot
of
good
news
to
the
Aamir
Khan
fans.
The
Perfectionist
Khan,
who
has
always
stayed
away
from
the
award
functions,
has
finally
given
a
nod
to
attend
the
upcoming
Dadasaheb
Phalke
Academy
Awards,
that
will
be
presented
on
May
3.
The
annual
event
at
Juhu’s
Hotel
Tulip
Star
will
honour
some
of
the
Bollywood’s
biggest
names.
One
of
the
organisers
informed
a
leading
daily
that
Aamir
would
unveil
a
wax
statue
of
Dadasaheb
Phalke
and
would
be
present
at
the
function
only
for
half
an
hour.
The
organiser
further
stated
that
Aamir
had
made
it
clear
that
he
would
attend
the
award
function,
only
to
unveil
the
statue
since
they
are
celebrating
100
years
of
Indian
cinema.
For
the
last
17
years,
Aamir
had
never
attended
any
of
the
award
functions.
Khan
feels
that
"Indian
film
awards
lack
credibility".
Even
when
he
was
invited
to
have
a
wax
imitation
of
himself,
which
was
put
on
display
at
Madame
Tussauds
in
London,
he
declined
stating
that,
"It's
not
important
to
me...
people
will
see
my
films
if
they
want
to.
Also,
I
cannot
deal
with
so
many
things,
I
have
bandwidth
only
for
that
much.”
