Satyamev Jayate: Aamir Khan ready to face legal action

Aamir Khan, who recently said that he has not insulted the medical profession on his show Satyamev Jayate and he will not say sorry to the doctors, is ready to face legal action.

While talking to media house Aamir Khan said, " I am very comfortable if they (IMA) plan to take legal action if they feel that I have done something wrong. Of course, the courts are available for them. My answer is no, I will not be apologizing."

Aamir Khan further added, "I deny that I have done that (defame doctors). I have the highest respect and regard for the medical profession."

The fourth episode of Aamir Khan's TV show Satyamev Jayate talked about the malpractices in the profession of medical. It also showed cases where patients were recommended to undergo surgeries while they actually suffered from minor ailments.
