Aamir Khan challenge rituals, ties rakhi to his sister!

This superstar surely is man of his words. Aamir Khan in his show Satyamev Jayate talked about gender equality, where he showed girls teaching, cooking and taking care of their younger brother. But the fact is that on Raksha Bandhan they have to tie Rakhi on their brothers wrist because it is said only a boy can give protection to a girl! Aamir Khan said that in these cases, it's girls who are protecting their younger brothers. So, these boys should tie rakhi on their sisters wrist. Aamir followed his words and tied rakhi to his elder sister.

Aamir Khan challenged rituals and tied Rakhi on his sister Nikhat's wrist. Aamir also requested Nikhat to protect him always. Nikhat is three years older to Aamir Khan.

Aamir Khan has done his bit and proved that he does what he preach. But are we ready to change our mindset and follow him?
