Abhishek Bachchan talks about daughter Aaradhya

Bollywood actor and new dad Abhishek Bachchan says that his daughter Aaradhya is like a blessing to his family and this is the most wonderful phase of his life.

In an interview to a leading daily Abhishek Bachchan talked about fatherhood and Aaradhya. He said, "You have one more reason to rush back home now. I have been a family-oriented person and both my parents and my wife also are. I think this is a wonderful phase and it's a blessing. I can't thank everyone enough for all the good wishes, blessings and prayers. I want to use your platform to thank everyone for all the kind words. Everyone has been so sweet and loving."

Talking about Aaradhya's name, the actor further added, "Aaradhya is just one of the names that we had among many others. And everybody liked it, so, we all collectively decided to keep it." Abhishek Bachchan also revealed that his mom Jaya Bachchan calls Aaradhya Bachchan 'Strawberry'.

Aishwarya and Abhishek rightfully named their child Aaradhya, meaning 'one who is worshipped.' There is no doubt that the name suits the little girl perfectly!
