Aishwarya
Rai
has
completed
her
10
long
years
at
the
prestigious
Cannes
film
festival.
But,
this
year's
Cannes
will
witness
a
pinch
of
difference
on
Ash's
side.
Not
only
will
she
have
daughter
Aaradhya
Bachchan
along
with
her,
but
Aishwarya
will
be
hailing
the
Cannes
for
a
cause.
Aishwarya
will
help
raise
funds
for
fight
against
AIDS
at
an
auction
at
Cannes.
Talking
to
IANS,
Aishwarya
said,
"This
year,
I
am
especially
privileged
as
I
also
get
to
lend
my
support
to
a
very
important
cause
at
the
amfAR
dinner,
by
helping
raise
funds
for
the
fight
against
AIDS,
at
the
AMFAR
auction."
"It
makes
me
proud
that
L'Oreal
Paris
sponsors
and
supports
our
fight
against
AIDS
through
this
special
amfAR
event
at
Cannes," she
further
added.
No
wonder
AIDS
is
one
of
the
most
dreadful
diseases
that
have
been
spreading
like
a
wild
fire
across
the
nation.
Both
the
high-class
and
the
poor-class
have
been
victimised
by
this
killer
disease.
Possibly,
this
is
the
right
time
for
the
Bollywood
stars
to
pick
social
issues
like
AIDS
and
do
some
good
for
the
society.
