Actor
Ajay
Devgn
has
denied
the
cheat
case
filed
by
Nagpur-based
distributor
Appu
Wadhwani,
who
had
filed
a
complaint
in
a
local
court
saying
that
the
makers
of
the
movie
Bol
Bachchan
have
dishonoured
the
deal
struck
with
him
for
the
film's
all-India
theatre
rights
last
year.
The
Bollywood
star
has
said
that
they
have
not
cheated
anybody
over
the
theatre
rights
of
his
upcoming
film.
Talking
to
PTI,
Ajay
Devgn
said,
"It
is
ridiculous.
The
matter
is
in
court
and
with
the
association...he
is
saying
something,
we
are
saying
something.
So
whoever
is
right...the
right
thing
will
be
done." The
actor-turned-producer
added,
"If
he
has
one
point
then
we
also
have
one
point.
I
don't
want
to
talk
about
it
as
the
matter
is
in
court.
We
have
not
cheated
anybody."
In
his
complaint,
Appu
Wadhwani,
the
distributor
running
a
company
Hira
Laxmi
Amusement
Private
Ltd,
had
claimed
that
he
had
entered
into
an
agreement
with
the
producers
for
all-India
theatre
rights
last
year
for
Rs
53.20
crore
and
had
paid
a
token
money
of
Rs
1.01
crore.
But
the
deal
fell
through.
The
producers
later
entered
into
a
fresh
deal
with
Fox
Star
Studios.
The
distributor
alleged
that
the
Bol
Bachchan
producers
have
dishonoured
the
deal
struck
with
him.
He
appealed
the
local
court
seeking
stoppage
of
film
release
and
refund
of
the
token
money.
Talking
about
it,
Ajay
Devgn
says,
"We
have
been
requesting
him
to
come
to
the
association
and
solve
the
matter
but
he
is
not
coming.
He
can
claim
whatever
he
wants.
The
matter
is
in
court.
There
are
two
issues
in
it.
I
am
not
involved
in
this."
Ajay
Devgn
says
that
he
has
not
cheated
the
distributor
and
he
will
accept
the
decision
of
the
court.
The
actor
added,
"It
is
there
between
him
and
Ashtavinayak,
there
are
different
issues...both
have
filed
case
in
the
court.
Nobody
is
cheating
anybody.
The
court
will
decide
and
whatever
they
decide
will
be
done."
However,
Bol
Bachchan,
which
has
been
directed
by
Rohit
Shetty,
is
an
amazing
romantic-comedy
film.
Dynamic
stars
like
Ajay
Devgn,
Abhishek
Bachchan,
Asin
Thottumkal
and
Prachi
Desai
are
playing
the
lead
roles
in
it.
The
film,
which
is
inspired
by
the
1979
comic
flick
Gol
Maal,
is
slated
for
release
on
July
6.
