Ajay Devgn, whose film Son Of Sardar is releasing with Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan on 13th November, has sent a legal notice to Yash Raj Films. Ajay Devgn has claimed that YRF has used their influential position in the showbiz market to prevent other films to release on November 13 (Diwali).

According to a leading daily, "ADF was forced to take legal recourse because of monopolistic practices of YRF. Before the release of Ek Tha Tiger, in August 2012, YRF had reportedly used their dominant position in the market to enter into an arrangement with the exhibitors saying that they will give them Ek Tha Tiger only if the exhibitors agreed to reportedly give their Diwali release prominence over others."

However, in a recent press conference when Ajay was asked whether he was requested by Shahrukh Khan to move the release date ahead, Ajay said, "Did Shahrukh himself call you and say that? In fact, it was very sweet of him to say that Yash Chopra himself would have wanted both the films to release on the same day. No two movies clash. In Diwali always two films release and I want all films to run well; not only mine! There is a lot of space in the industry."
