A sequel to Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore is on cards?

Akshay Kumar's latest release Rowdy Rathore has continued to good collection at the Box Office. As the film unit is busy celebrating the success of the action thriller, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Sanjay Leela Bhansali are now considering on doing a sequel or prequel to this Blockbuster flick.

In an exclusive chat with Taran Adarsh, Siddharth Roy Kapur confirmed the news about Rowdy Rathore 2. The UTV CEO said, "We would like to take the idea forward, but there has to be an awesome story in the first place. It could be a prequel. It could be a sequel. Right now, we are enjoying its success."

After Rowdy Rathore, Akshay Kumar is now gearing up for his next release Joker, which has also been produced by UTV. It was recently rumoured that Akki is upset with UTV for overselling the rights of the film. Talking about it, Siddharth said, "It's a rumor. We have not sold a single territory so far. Also, Akshay is *not* upset with UTV."

However, the year 2012 seems to be very lucky year for Akshay Kumar, who has already scored double century with the movies like Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore, that too in just six month. Joker, which features Sonakshi Sinha alongside Akki, is his next most-anticipated movie. Now, it should be seen whether the movie will cross 100 crore mark at the Box Office to make it a Hattrick success for Akki.
