Akshay Kumar set to score a century with Joker

The year 2012 has been a year of 100s for Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. His films Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore, which released earlier this year, have crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office. The Bollywood Khiladi is now set to score century with his upcoming movie Joker.

Yes! Joker is Akshay Kumar's 100th film. The actor, who has debuted in films with Saugandh in 1991, has seen many ups and downs in the 22 years of his acting career. Akki has accepted both success and failure with same feeling. What makes him happy in his Bollywood journey is that he has treaded his own path.

Talking about his journey, Akshay Kumar said that he is not very much bothered about the Box Office numbers. He would like all his films to do well, but never aims for a Rs 100 crore. He added that what matters him is the audience reaction. As an actor, he wants to appear in the way that they want to see him.

His 100th film Joker, which is directed Shirish Kunder, is a comedy movie and Akshay Kumar is playing NASA scientist Agasthya, while Sonakshi Sinha appears as his wife Manali. It is one of the much-hyped movies of 2012. It is scheduled to release on August 31.
