Barfi's nomination to Oscars sparks debate; what do you think?

Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz starrer Barfi may have won the hearts of audience and made its entry to Oscars but it has not gone well with a section of people. Like before, this year's selection of the Bollywood movie to represent India at the 85th Oscar Awards has raised a lot of questions.

There is a strong debate going on internet and on television channels for nominating Barfi to the Oscar Awards. While some believe that some parts of the movie are not original, which makes it ineligible for the coveted awards, others feel that there were better movies than Barfi in the short-listed 12 Indian movies. We hear that people are raising voice in support of Gangs of Wasseypur and Paan Singh Tomar.

However, Tamil movies 7aam Arivu, Vallaku En 18/9 and Telugu film Eega are also gaining support from South Indian audience. Other movies in the list were Malayalam film Akashaninthe Niram, Marathi film Deool, Bollywood movies Heroine, Kahaani, Ferrari Ki Sawari and The Dirty Picture.
