Chashme Baddoor is loaded with smart one-liners: Tapsee

Tapsee
Actress Tapsee Pannu is all thrilled about her debut Bollywood movie Chashme Baddoor, which is a remake of the 1981 comedic film of the same name. The popular South Indian actress says that her role in the film is very different from Deepthi Naval's character in the original movie.

Talking to a leading English daily, Tapsee Pannu says that she is playing a contemporary and urbanised character in Chashme Baddoor, which is not a typical slapstick comedy of David Dhawan. “It is loaded with smart one-liners that we all use everyday. It has a very subtle sort of humor,” TOI quotes her as saying.

Chashme Baddoor is about three students at a university, who don't go home during summer vacation and how a girl comes in their life. Tapsee Pannu is playing the girl, which was originally essayed by Deepti Naval, while Ali Zafar, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma appear as university students.

However, Tapsee Pannu has plenty to look forward to. She has several big ticket flicks in both Tamil and Telugu, which are set to release in 2012. She is eagerly waiting for the release of Venkatesh's Shadow, Gundello Godari, Gopichand-Eleti untitled flick, Vishal's Madha Gaja Raja and Ajith-Arya's untitled flick.
