After Aamir, Shahrukh, Emraan wants to turn item boy

It seems that boys are the new item in Bollywood. After Aamir Khan's item song in Delhi Belly and Shahrukh Khan's item song in his home production movie Always Kabhi-Kabhi, it's serial kisser, Emraan Hashmi who wants to follow the trend.

Emraan Hashmi wants to do an item song but with a twist. In an interview to a leading daily, Emraan said, "The conventional item numbers are very boring. I don't like the way they are presented. I will do something different."

Emraan further added jokingly that if Dibakar Banerjee, director of his latest film Shanghai, will cast him as an item boy, he would take it up.

Talking about his film, Emraan said, "The praise that I have got for Jogi Parmar, I have hardly ever heard such praise in my career. After Shanghai, I would want to do more films like this."

Well, undoubtedly the era of item boys has begun!
