Emraan Hashmi, who has earned the tag of serial kisser for his bold acts, will play the role of a porn filmmaker in his forthcoming film Shanghai. The film is a political thriller and it also stars Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin.

In the film Shanghai, Emraan plays the character of a Punjabi boy from a small town, who shoots marriage videos during the day and porn films at night.

At a recent event, Emraan Hashmi told the media that the name of his character in the film is Jogi Parmar. Jogi speaks in a Jodhpuri accent and carries 3-4 visiting cards with him. He also said that his role of a porn filmmaker is very bold and challenging. And Emraan is very excited to do it.
