Fardeen Khan breathes a sign of relief in drug case

Actor Fardeen Khan, son of late yesteryear star Feroz Khan, finally breathes a sign of relief after the Mumbai sessions court granted him immunity in a drug case.

Fardeen was found guilty in October last year after he was charged of attempting to buy cocaine in a 10-year-old case, in which a special court framed charges against him and two others. The special NDPS court had framed charges against Khan, under section 21 (A) of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances act.

The court accepted Fardeen's application under Section 64 (A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The court also stated that if he is arrested for a similar offence in the future then the immunity against him shall be withdrawn.
