who
has
been
entrapped
in
a
land
grabbing
case,
along
with
five
others,
defended
herself.
A
disturbed
Genelia
said
that
she
isn't
involved
in
any
such
land
scams.
Reportedly,
a
Hyderabad
court
directed
the
police
to
register
an
FIR
against
the
actress,
alleging
that
she
has
been
involved
in
a
land
grabbing
case
worth
of
Rs
250
crores.
Genelia's
spokesperson
said
that
the
actress
has
nothing
to
do
with
properties
in
Hyderabad.
Speaking
to
Deccan
Chronicle,
her
spokesperson
said
that
“Genelia
does
not
endorse
or
sit
on
the
board
of
directors
of
any
real
estate
brand
currently." The
actress
had
done
a
one-off
campaign,
a
photo
shoot
six
years
back,
even
before
the
project
started.
But
beyond
this,
the
actress
has
no
other
connection
with
either
the
project
or
the
company,
he
added.
One
of
the
victims
of
the
scam
complained
that
Genelia,
who
is
the
brand
ambassador
and
also
one
of
the
directors
of
M/s
Anjaniputra
Infrastructure
Private
Limited,
allegedly
made
false
promises
through
ads
&
brochures
and
directly
cooperated
with
the
other
accused
in
grabbing
his
and
others’
money.
