Kahaani is a child of Vidya Balan: Sujoy Ghosh

Director Sujoy Ghosh has described the upcoming movie Kahaani, which is slated to release this weekend, as the child of Vidya Balan. He says that he was a little confused about the making of the film, but her faith in the story made it possible.

In an interview, Sujoy Ghosh says that he was writing the script for Kahaani during the release of Aladin and the failure of this film made him lose his faith in the subject. But Vidya Balan liked the story of the film. So he kept her faith intact and did not give up his effort.

In Kahaani, Vidya Balan is playing a pregnant NRI woman searching for her missing husband in Kolkata. Sujoy Ghosh adds that she had a certain belief in the film and today she is proud of it. Besides being an actress, she is also involved in other process of making of the film. At times, she even managed crowds when things became a little unruly while shooting.

Vidya Balan has been busy promoting the movie Kahaani across the country for the few weeks. She is hopeful that this movie would get huge success to her than her previous film The Dirty Picture. Now, it should been seen whether it will really break the record of The Dirty Picture.
