Mumbai:
Actress
Katrina
Kaif,
who
played
the
role
of
Indu
in
the
hit
movie
Rajneeti,
is
all
excited
about
the
idea
of
making
a
sequel
to
it.
Filmmaker
Prakash
Jha
has
already
announced
his
plans
of
making
Rajneeti
2.
Now,
the
actress
says
that
he
has
already
told
her
the
idea
and
story
of
the
sequel
and
it
is
amazing.
In
an
interview
to
PTI,
Katrina
Kaif
told,
"I
did
hear
the
idea
about
sequel
from
Prakashji,
I
think
it
was
brilliant.
The
only
thing
is
that
most
of
the
characters
from
the
first
film
have
been
killed,
so
he
has
to
set
up
whole
thing
again.
The
story
line,
the
idea
that
he
told
me
about
Rajneeti
2
is
amazing
and
I
hope
everything
comes
on
properly."
Prakash
Jha
is
currently
working
on
Chakravyuh
and
Satyagrah,
and
Katrina
Kaif
hopes
that
Rajneeti
2
will
fall
in
place
very
soon.
The
actress
said,
"I
think
he
is
busy
with
another
film
'Satyagrah'.
If
something
really
falls
in
place
then
it
is
good
because
I
genuinely
feel
it
is
a
good
idea.
It
is
something
that
excited
me.
I
hope
things
fall
in
place."
In
Rajneeti
the
characters
played
by
Ajay
Devgan,
Manoj
Bajpayee,
Naseeruddin
Shah,
Arjun
Rampal
and
Sarah
Thompson
die
on
screen.
However,
there
are
chances
that
Nana
Patekar
might
return
in
its
sequel.
But
Ranbir
Kapoor
is
not
likely
to
be
the
part
of
the
second
instalment
as
he
reportedly
decided
to
drop
out
of
the
film
because
his
schedule
is
packed
with
other
plum
assignments.
When
asked
about
whether
Rajneeti
sequel
is
going
to
be
women-oriented,
Katrina
Kaif
said,
"I
don't
know
as
he
(Jha)
has
given
me
one
line
brief
about
it.
He
has
not
called
me
for
full
script
as
he
is
working
on
two
films
-
Chakravyuh
and
Satyagrah."
