Superstar
Aamir
Khan's
wife
Kiran
Rao,
who
was
present
at
the
12th
Osian's-Cinefan
Film
Festival
on
Monday,
spoke
at
length
about
non-commercial
films.
Rao,
who
made
her
directorial
debut
with
off-beat
film
Dhobi
Ghat,
spoke
about
her
past
fight
with
Aamir
over
the
film
at
the
event.
Kiran
Rao
said,
"In
the
beginning,
we
used
to
have
a
lot
of
fights.
I
was
conscious
of
the
fact
that
I
wanted
to
protect
my
script.
Filming
Aamir
was
a
cakewalk.
Once
I
learnt
to
let
things
be,
things
were
much
easier.
Aamir
was
light
and
free,
and
I
began
to
enjoy
the
shades
that
an
actor
could
give
to
a
character
-
thanks
to
his
sheer
mastery
of
the
art."
Kiran
believes
that
there
always
lies
a
risk
factor
to
make
non-commercial
films.
"Today,
if
you
ask
me
if
I
would
want
to
make
film
like
'Dhobi
Ghat',
I
would
think
again
about
it," she
further
stated.
