Actress
Vidya
Balan's
much-awaited
film
Kahaani
that
is
all
set
to
release
this
Friday,
March
9,
is
facing
few
objections
by
Kolkata
Metro
Railway
authorities
over
a
scene
where
a
pregnant
Vidya
was
seen
pushed
perilously
before
a
speeding
train.
Metro
spokesperson
Protyush
Ghosh
told
PTI
that
the
Metro
authorities
had
asked
producers
of
the
film
to
remove
the
particular
clip
from
their
trailers
as
well
as
from
the
film.
On
the
other
hand,
Kolkata
Metro's
General
Manager
gave
a
vivid
reason
for
such
an
objection.
He
said
that
since
there
have
been
many
suicides
on
the
Metro
tracks,
people
can
imbibe
ideas
from
such
provoking
scenes
that
might
lead
to
further
metro
suicidal
cases.
But
defending
his
own
film,
director
Sujoy
Ghosh
said
that
no
one
will
commit
suicide
for
his
film
since
Kahaani
is
meant
for
reminding
people
of
suicides.
Though
this
controversial
topic
is
still
on
talks,
we
are
awaiting
for
the
movie's
release.
Kahaani
is
based
on
an
unusual
story
where
a
pregnant
Vidya
Balan
flies
from
London
to
Kolkata
in
search
of
her
missing
husband.
