Veteran
actor
Prem
Chopra,
who
was
one
of
the
most
sought
after
villains
in
Bollywood,
is
all
set
to
come
back
to
big
screen
as
bad
guy.
Yes!
The
Bollywood
star
is
playing
a
negative
role
named
Kazaan
in
Saif
Ali
Khan's
much-anticipated
movie
Agent
Vinod,
which
is
scheduled
to
release
on
March
23.
In
an
interview
with
PTI,
Prem
Chopra
said,
"I
am
playing
a
bad
man
this
time
after
quite
some
time.
Now
heroes
are
willing
to
play
bad
guy
as
they
have
felt
that
negative
characters
do
get
established.
Now-a-days
heroes
are
not
shying
away
from
playing
negatives
a
role
that
was
a
rare
thing
in
the
past,
in
our
times."
Prem
Chopra
feels
that
times
have
changed
now
as
heroes
are
not
shying
away
from
playing
negative
roles.
The
actor
added,
"One
has
to
accept
change.
I
have
also
accepted
roles
of
all
kinds,
not
restricting
myself
to
do
only
negative
roles.
I
have
been
doing
positive
and
little
hearted
roles
in
films
like
Rocket
Singh,
Golmaal
3,
Dhamaal.”
However,
Prem
Chopra
started
his
acting
career
with
the
Punjabi
film
Chaudhary
Karnail
Singh
(1962),
which
was
set
in
pre-partition
times.
The
film
was
a
big
hit
at
the
Box
Office.
Besides
getting
a
National
Award,
the
movie
also
gave
him
the
much-needed
break.
He
was
directed
to
go
for
villainous
roles
in
Bollywood.
His
later
movies
like
Woh
Kaun
Thi
(1964),
Teesri
Manzil
(1966),
Upkar
(1967),
Do
Raaste
(1969),
Kati
Patang
(1970),
Bobby
(1973)
in
Hindi
were
also
successful.
With
these
film,
his
negative
image
became
even
more
strong.
His
famous
dialogues
like
'Prem
naam
hai
mera,
Prem
Chopra'
from
Bobby
became
very
popular.
Now,
he
is
playing
a
villain
in
Agent
Vinod
and
it
should
be
seen
how
viewer
would
accept
him.
