Priyanka Chopra to take boxing tips from Mary Kom

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is keen to learn boxing from Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom for her next film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The 30-year-old Fashion star, who will be seen playing the boxing queen in a biopic, took to Twitter to announce the same. "Now off to my first meeting with the one and only Mary Kom!!! Dhan tana... Will make her teach me how to wear my boxing gloves!!," she posted. The film will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Kom has also given her approval to Priyanka playing her onscreen.

When a leading daily asked Mary Kom about her thoughts on Priyanka Chopra, she said, "Any actress is good enough to play my role. They are all talented. I am happy that Priyanka is doing my role."

Mary Kom also says that acting is very hard for her as she gets nervous while facing the camera. Mary thinks that she can not act well. Mary Kom is the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships.
