Raj Kanwar's cremation to be held in Mumbai on Sunday

The cremation of Bollywood filmmaker Raj Kanwar, who died of kidney problems yesterday in Singapore, will be held at Oshiwara in Mumbai at 12.00 pm on Sunday, 5th February. Several big B-Town celebrities are expected to attend the last rites of the 53-year-old eminent director.

Raj Kanwar was suffering from kidney ailment from the past one year. The director had recently gone to Singapore for a kidney transplant and he was to undergo operation for the same soon. But he passed away even before the surgery took place. His body is expected to be flown to India today.

Raj Kanwar is survived by his wife Anita and two sons Karan (20) and Abhay Kanwar (16). The director had given big breaks in Bollywood to several stars. His sudden death has shocked many actors including Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar.
