Rajesh Khanna dies at 69!

Bollywood's yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna died today at his Bandra residence 'Aashirwad'. Rajesh Khanna, who was suffering since long, was put on ventilator today. But, he succumbed to death a few minutes back. The funeral is expected to take place at 11:00 AM tomorrow.

All family members have gathered at Rajesh Khanna's Bandra residence 'Aashirwad' and the house is surrounded by a few police officials. It is also being reported that Rajesh Khanna's son-in-law Akshay Kumar has returned from his shoots abroad.

It's been only a day since the veteran actor was discharged from the hospital. Just a couple of days back, estranged wife Dimple Kapadia, who had been taking care of Rajesh Khanna at the Lilavati hospital told PTI, "He is fine now and will be there in hospital for two-three days. He was admitted due to weakness and low blood pressure."

Rajesh Khanna was a Lok Sabha member from 1992 to 1996 for the Congress from the New Delhi constituency. The actor made his debut in Bollywood with the 1966 film Aakhri Khat, directed by Chetan Anand. This was followed by Raaz, directed by Ravindra Dave. Both films did very well at the Box Office. His last film was Wafaa opposite Laila Khan.
