Rajesh Khanna is hale and hearty: Akshay Kumar

Yesteryear Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna is hale, hearty and lively, confirms his son-in-law Akshay Kumar. It was reported yesterday that the senior B-Town actor had stopped food intake and fallen critically ill last night. Akshay, who is married to his daughter Twinkle, slammed the reports saying that they are all rumours.

Akshay Kumar visited Rajesh Khanna at his residence Aashirwad and he made him wave his hand from his balcony at the media persons waiting outside. His estranged wife Dimple Kapadia was by his side. Later talking to PTI, Akshay Kumar said, "He is absolutely fine, healthy and hearty. It was all rumours that he is unwell. On the contrary, he is more than fine. The information that you people have got is absolutely wrong."

However last night, Rajesh Khanna's manager had said that the actor was unwell. The actor was admitted to a hospital following uneasiness and weakness in April. The veteran actor, who is considered Bollywood's first superstar, has acted in over 150 films. Fondly called 'Kaka' by his fans, Khanna ruled the industry in the 1960s and 1970s with films like Aaradhana, Anand and Bawarchi.
