Mumbai:
Rani
Mukherjee
is
finally
back.
This
time,
she's
not
the
stereotyped
glam
doll.
Rani,
who
is
making
her
comeback
with
her
latest
flick
Aiyyaa,
will
be
playing
a
de-glam
Marathi
mulgi.
Rani's
much-awaited
movie
Aiyya's
first
look
is
finally
out.
Directed
by
Sachin
Kundalkar,
Aiyyaa
features
Rani
Mukherjee
and
Malayalam
star
Prithviraj
Sukumaran
in
the
leads.
It
is
evident
from
the
film's
first
look
that
the
lead
actors
in
the
movie
will
play
funny
roles.
While
Rani
is
playing
a
Marathi
girl,
Prithviraj
plays
a
hunky
Tamil
student.
Aiyyaa
is
Prithviraj's
debut
Bollywood
movie.
The
story
of
Aiyya
revolves
around
Rani
Mukherjee,
who
dreams
to
become
an
actress.
But
she
ends
up
with
a
job
at
an
Arts
college,
where
she
meets
a
soul-mate,
a
buck-toothed
Lady
GaGa
lookalike,
and
together
they
go
man-hunting.
Rani
finally
finds
her
dream
boy
Prithviraj,
who
she
stalks,
much
to
his
annoyance.
But
then,
the
story
takes
a
turn,
after
which
Rani
gets
emotionally
shattered.
Aiyyaa
is
scheduled
to
release
on
26
Oct,
2012.
