Revealed: How much Kareena Kapoor charged for Heroine

Madhur Bhandarkar, who is directing Kareena Kapoor in his upcoming film Heroine, has revealed that Kareena Kapoor has charged Rs 1.5 crore for it.

In an interview to a leading daily, Madhur Bhandarkar said, "We made the film (Chandani Bar) in Rs 1.5 crores. Today, Kareena alone has charged Rs 1.5 crores for Heroine."

Heroine is based on real life incidents of an actor's life. Talking about his films that are linked to real life, Madhur Bhandarkar said, "I am an emotional and fragile person. I observe life, I am perceptive and can read a person's body language. I have a strong journalistic streak in me, and had I not been a filmmaker, I would have become a film journalist. I have combined my perceptive and journalistic traits to create my own brand of cinema."

Well, it's really surprising to see that Heroines like Kareena Kapoor would have to act in so many films to earn what actors like Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan can pocket in just one film!
