Actor
Saif
Ali
Khan,
who
was
arrested
and
released
on
bail
on
Wednesday,
seems
to
be
landing
in
fresh
trouble
as
the
eye
witnesses
at
Wasabi
restaurant
at
the
Taj
Mahal
Palace,
have
stated
that
it
was
Saif
and
his
friends,
who
first
hit
NRI
businessman
Iqbal
Sharma
and
his
father-in-law
Raman
Patel.
The
truth
is
coming
to
light
after
the
Colaba
police
investigation,
nearly
20
hours
after
the
incident.
Earlier,
Saif
Ali
Khan
had
admitted
that
he
had
hit
Iqbal
Sharma,
but
he
had
claimed
that
it
was
Iqbal
who
hit
him
on
his
eye
first.
The
actor
had
stated
that
the
NRI
businessman
abused
the
women
with
him
with
slangs
and
attacked
him
later.
So
he
hit
him
back
in
an
act
of
self
defence,
added
Saif.
But
investigation
reports
of
the
Colaba
police
reveal
that
Saif
Ali
Khan
and
his
friends
first
attacked
the
NRI
businessman.
Police
Office
Vinod
Sawant
said,
“The
staff
at
Taj
told
us
that
Saif
and
his
two
friends
Shakeel
Ladak
and
producer
Bilal
Amrohi
hit
the
complainant.
They
also
confirmed
that
Saif
attacked
the
complainant
first."
When
asked
about
whether
Saif
was
under
the
influence
of
alcohol,
the
police
officer
stated,
“The
bill
came
to
Rs
60,000
and
they
ordered
one
peg
of
whisky.
But
we
don"t
know
if
they
were
already
drunk
before
coming
to
the
Taj."
He
added,
“Our
investigations
are
on
and
we
have
enough
evidence.
I
don"t
want
to
reveal
anything
right
now."
