Saif Ali Khan reveals the other part of the NRI assault story

Actor Saif Ali Khan, who has been accused for punching a man in a restaurant, finally broke the silence. Saif, who was initially arrested and then released on bail, had to narrate his part of the story. Saif said that the entire blame should not fall on him.

Saif told that he was hit first and hence reacted in self defence. "I was hit first and verbally abused," Saif said, talking to reporters at his home. "I was hit first. And as shocking as it may seem, the elderly gentlemen hit me. I'm not sure what provoked him." "I am looking forward to CCTV footage (inside the restaurant)," he said.

On Tuesday night, Saif and his friends who were dining in a restaurant at Taj, got into a brawl with an NRI who reportedly asked the actor to maintain silence. After this, Saif allegedly punched the man. The victim named Iqbal Sharma went and lodged a complaint against the actor in Colaba police station. According to Sharma, when he asked Saif and his friends to talk less loudly, he was assaulted.

But Saif's version said, "I was hit and I was only defending myself." "People assume that just because you are a film star, you are a spoilt brat...I feel like I have been aggressed upon (sic)."
