Salman Khan's brother Sohail breaks his silence over the accident!

The recent tragic death of an old pavement dweller, who was crushed to death by a Land Cruiser owned by Salman Khan's brother Sohail Khan, has been one of the top trending topics in the media and social networking sites. But, according to Sohail Khan, the entire issue has led to a grim situation in his family. Sohail, who is very upset and hurt with the media reports says that the media has unnecessarily dragged his family into the unfortunate incident, which is unfair.

Talking to TOI, Sohail said, "We are not an insensitive family. And it's not a good feeling to be portrayed that way. The driver was alone in the car. It was the driver who caused the very unfortunate accident. He has taken the responsibility of it." He further claims that his family is extremely disturbed with the entire episode. "We are shaken by the whole episode. Who wouldn't be? Are we not human?" he said.

The accident took place on Sunday night, near St Andrews Church in Bandra. Sohail's driver Dhananjaya Pimpale was driving the car towards Sohail Khan's home in Galaxy apartments, when he hit Chandan Bala. Dhananjaya Pimpale was arrested by the police and subjected to an alcohol test which turned out to be negative. The police has booked Pimpale on charges of rash driving and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
