Big hearted Salman Khan paid for the release of 400 prisoners

Salman Khan is famous for his generous nature and big heart. It has been reported that the actor paid for the release of 400 prisoners through his NGO in January 2012.

Salman Khan is known to help needy people. In January 2012, Salman Khan's NGO Foundation helped in the release of 400 prisoners from 63 prisons of Uttar Pradesh. The prisoners had completed their term but due to lack of money, they were unable to pay the legal fine against their charges. So, Salman Khan decided to pay the money. Salman Khan paid around 40 lakhs to release the prisoners from the Uttar Pradesh jail.

In the past also Salman Khan has helped many needy people. His NGO Being Human is dedicated to improve the education and health care of the underprivileged.

Well, we must say that Salman Khan has got a heart of gold.
