Actor
Salman
Khan
has
slammed
the
reports
that
he
has
kicked
out
filmmaker
Shirish
Kunder
from
his
upcoming
movie
Kick,
which
is
remake
of
hit
Telugu
film
with
the
same
name.
The
Bollywood
superstar
says
that
Joker
director
has
left
the
film
due
to
other
commitments.
Now
Sajid
Nadiadwala
will
direct
it.
Shirish
Kunder
was
to
direct
the
film
Kick
after
the
release
of
his
much
hyped
movie
Joker.
It
was
reported
earlier
that
Salman
Khan
was
not
happy
with
Shirish
Kunder's
script.
So
the
actor
had
reportedly
asked
to
do
certain
correction
in
it.
A
couple
of
days
after
the
news
hit
the
net,
Shirish
announced
that
he
would
not
direct
Salman
Khan
in
Kick.
On
his
Twitter
page,
Shirish
Kunder
tweeted,
"Sajid
Nadiadwala
will
be
directing
KICK.
He
had
originally
envisioned
the
project
and
I
feel
he
is
the
best
person
to
bring
it
to
life." The
director
added,
"I'll
continue
with
my
efforts
to
make
original
films
and
bring
novel
stories
in
a
mainstream
format.
Remakes
for
now
do
not
interest
me."
His
second
post
fueled
the
speculations
that
he
has
been
dumped
from
the
movie
Kick
over
his
creative
difference
with
Salman
Khan.
But
upset
Salman
took
to
his
Twitter
page
to
clear
the
air.
The
actor
tweeted,
"No
that's
nt
true
.
shirish
left
the
film
.
He
is
working
on
sm
thing
else
.
Ho
gaya
clear
?
Good
!
Challo
bye
.
Take
care
guys
n
nice
(sic)."
However,
Salman
Khan
and
Sajid
Nadiadwala
have
been
close
friends
for
long
and
have
worked
together
in
films
like
Jeet,
Judwaa,
Har
Dil
Jo
Pyar
Karega
and
Mujhse
Shaadi
Karogi.
Talking
about
the
producer,
the
Ek
Tha
Tiger
star
had
earlier
said,
"Sajid's
narrations
are
better
than
those
of
most
directors
and
I've
been
pushing
him
to
make
the
switch
for
years." He
added,
"Today,
I'm
still
kunwara
(bachelor)
but
he's
finally
turned
director!"
