Shahrukh Khan's Mannat freed from Supreme Court's legal clutches

The Supreme Court has recently dismissed a petition against superstar Shahrukh Khan, who was accused of building his dream house Mannat by allegedly violating environmental and archaeological laws.

Supporting the King Khan, a bench of justices DK Jain and AR Dave felt that Shahrukh is being merely targeted due to his 'celebrity and superstar status'. Justice Jain fired few questions to the petitioners, that fell in favour of SRK.

The justice cleared that only SRK's building that is being targeted because of his celebrity status and “What about the other properties, that have violated the law?” They further added that they could not permit to pick only one such property, there has to be other such illegal properties as well.
