Sonakshi Sinha's item song chikni kamar lands in trouble

By Super

It's a known fact that Sonakshi Sinha is doing an item number with Akshay Kumar in her upcoming movie Rowdy Rathore. Sonakshi said that Hampi is the perfect location to shoot this item song. But she wouldn't have expected that the local workers of Hampi would raise an objection over the movie being shot there as it is a protected zone.

The shooting of Sonakshi Sinha's first Item song 'chikni kamar' came to a sudden halt when local workers blamed the director of the movie, Prabhu Deva for not utilising their service.

Prabhu Deva was shooting 'chikni kamar' song in Hampi temple with actor Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and 50 other dancers. When the leaders of the local workers came to know about this, they objected the decision of the government to allow Prabhu Deva and his team to shoot in a protected zone.

Later, these protesters came with the members of the Karnataka Film Artistes Association who said that Prabhu Deva had violated the law by not employing 30% of the workforce from the state.

When the members forced Prabhu to follow the rule and employ the local workers, he packed up and left.
