Vidya Balan is a true successor of Aamir Khan: Anurag Kashyap

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who created history with his hit movie Dev D, has been impressed so much with the performance of actress Vidya Balan in her latest movie Kahaani, released in theates on 9th March, that he can’t stop raving her. The thrilled Bollywood director describes the Mallu girl as a true successor of superstar Aamir Khan.

After watching the movie Kahaani, Anurag Kashyap took to his Twitter page and wrote, "Kahaani is how a thriller should be shot...the ending is debatable but what an effort." The 39-year-old filmmaker further tweeted, "Vidya is slowly emerging to be a true successor of Aamir (Khan)... a great career is defined by choices one makes and courage to see it through."

Kahaani is written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Vidya Balan is playing a seven months pregnant woman, who has come to Kolkata in search of her missing husband. The script and Vidya’s acting have been admired a lot by all the film critics. Will the movie break the record of The Dirty Picture at the Box Office?
