Vidya Balan's Kahaani fetches 8 cr from satellite rights

Vidya Balan’s recent movie Kahaani has earned huge amount of money in the domestic as well as international Box Office. The latest buzz is that the Sujoy Ghosh directed film has fetched a whopping amount for its satellite rights. The rumour is that Kahaani has got almost 8 crore from its TV rights.

Talking about the earning of the movie Kahaani, producer Vikram Malhotra expressed his happiness over its performance, but he refused to reveal exact figure. "I'm not at liberty to disclose figures. But I can tell you that Kahaani has surpassed expectations on all fronts - India box office; overseas and satellite sales," the TOI quotes him as saying.

With the success of Kahaani, it is proved that like Khans, Vidya Balan has also got an amazing power to carry a film on her shoulders. When asked about it, he adds, "I have been recently asked whether Vidya is the new Khan on the block. To that my reply is 'she's the new hero on the block'.”
