Vidya Balan, Poonam Pandey's nude paintings leads to violence

Delhi-based artist Pranava Prakash got beaten up by few men for making nude paintings of Poonam Pandey, Vidya Balan and Veena Malik. Reportedly, Prakash was attacked while he was showcasing his paintings of Bollywood celebs nude at Espace Alternative gallery in Noida.

The paintings show actors Vidya Balan and Malaika Arora Khan half-naked, and model Poonam Pandey completely nude, wearing an Anna cap and holding the Tricolour. Prakash told the media that five men barged into the exhibition and thrashed him.

"I was in attendance at the art exhibition in the evening and I was taken by surprise when five people entered the gallery shouting slogans. They slapped me twice, threw me to the floor and then began pulling down the paintings, damaging three of my paintings," he told Mid Day.
