Vidya Balan teaming up again with Emraan Hashmi in Ghanchakkar

Actress Vidya Balan is once again teaming up with Emraan Hashmi after the huge success of her last year's movie The Dirty Picture. Titled Ghanchakkar, the duo's movie is being directed by Rajkumar Gupta. This happens to be the first film that Vidya has signed after The Dirty Picture.

Vidya Balan has already worked with director Rajkumar Gupta for the movie No One Killed Jessica. Ghanchakkar is a comedy thriller and lot of comic elements are narrated in a unique way. Emraan plays the title character in Ghanchakkar, who is a suave safe-cracker. Vidya appears as his better-half.

Ghanchakkar, which goes on floors in August this year, is produced by UTV. Amit Trivedi will compose music for the songs, which will have lyrics of Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Talking about the movie, Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures said, “Rajkumar and Pervez Sheikh have penned a quirky comic-thriller that will surprise audiences with its many twists and turns.
