Watch: Akshay Kumar's Joker trailer, just amazing!

The official theatrical trailer of Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Joker is finally out. Directed by Shirish Kunder, the film also features Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba and Asrani. Joker will be Akki's 100th film.

The story of Joker revolves around a village called Paglapur, that remains isolated, with no electricity, television or sanity. Akshay is playing a character of a NASA scientist Agasthya, while Sonakshi plays his wife Manali. The promo gives us the first glimpse at the much-talked about aliens.

The promo will also show Chitrangada Singh in an item song. Joker would be the second film in which Sonakshi is paired opposite Akshay after Rowdy Rathore. The look of the film is retro and also funny. But, according to Shirish Kunder, Joker has some humour but its not a comedy, unlike the title suggests. The film will be released on 31 August, 2012.
