Yash Chopra's Chautha ceremony to be held at YRF studios today
Veteran Hindi filmmaker Yash Chopra died of multi-organ failure on Sunday, a week after he was admitted to the Lilavati hospital for the treatment of dengue.
Yash Chopra, who celebrated his 80th birthday on September 27, was the king of romance. He gave superhits like Kabhi Kabhie, Silsila, Chandni and Dil to Pagal Hai in his five-decade career. On October 13, Yash Chopra was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra in Mumbai after he was diagnosed with dengue. Yash Chopra's death has come as sudden shock. He is survived by wife Pamela and sons Aditya and Uday.
He had announced his retirement from direction last week. His last directorial movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is all ready for release on November 13.
