Zohra Sehgal turns 100 today!

It's legendary actor Zohra Sehgal's 100th birthday today. This grand old lady, who is famous for her wittiness and enthusiasm, was born in 1912, a year before 'Raja Harishchandra' (first Indian film) released. Zohra Sehgal began her career with well-known dancer Uday Shankar in 1935 and later joined theatre.

Her performance in Cheeni Kum received extensive praise. She was also awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian award, in 2010 for her work.

Bollywood stars and filmmakers such as Dia Mirza, Karan Johar and Shabana Azmi wished Zohra Sehgal on Twitter. They wrote:
