Abhishek Bachchan Tells Reporter Not To Refer Wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan As 'Ash'
Going down the memory lane, it's not easy to say when exactly the love between the junior Bachchan couple began to brew. It was during their film Guru that the couple became pretty open about their relationship. If you have ever wondered how Abhishek Bachchan initiated the sparks with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the actor tells us that courted her through his gestures, emotions, and words. He also made it clear that he doesn't like people calling his wife as 'Ash'.
"I am used to people whistling at my wife. See my wife then you will know why I am saying this. I have never whistled at her to woo her. I don't think its the right thing to do. I courted her through my gesture, emotions and words," said Abhishek.
Aishwarya, who was also present at this event interrupted in between the conversation and said,"This is why I am married to him." During this group interview, one of the reporters referred to Aishwarya as Ash and her hubby Abhishek was not pleased to hear this. He corrected the reported that she is not 'Ash' but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
It has been seven years since the couple has been married. The two even have a daughter named Aaradhya. Abhishek tells us that Ash is a good cook too. "She cooks really well. In fact she makes good deserts. When we were newly-married, there is a Bengali custom where the girl has to make some sweet and she prepared halwa which was too good. More than anything else, it is the emotion and with love you cook that matters."
