Why did Aishwarya Rai Bachchan extend her stay at the Cannes?

The Cannes' hot favourite Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made her stunning appearance at the event recently, has reportedly decided to extend her stay in the French riviera, in order to attend a fashion show for amFar (The American Foundation for AIDS Research).

Aishwarya Rai is the brand ambassador of L'Oreal Paris and has been a supporter of AIDS research. She had attended the amFar gala last year as well and wore an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfit for that event. Reportedly, this time, she will wear an exquisite gold-themed outfit designed by Tarun Tahiliani.

This year, Rai has stunned all her detractors at the Cannes, by sporting stylish and a complete diva-like avatar at the film festival. She was seen in a blue Gucci and fuchsia pink lips at the do. In the past, Ash was targeted at the Cannes for having a bad fashion sense. But today, one has to admit, Ash defines style statement.

This is Aishwarya Rai Bachchans' 12th appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. She was accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya and mother Vrinda Rai at the Cannes.
