Will Akshay's next film make it to the 100 crore bracket?

Akshay Kumar who has got two of his films in the Rs 100 crore tag now hopes the same for his upcoming film Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara. The film is directed by Milan Luthria. It is a sequel to the 2010 hit film Once Upon A Time in Mumbai. The producer of the film Ekta Kapoor, has invested a lot on getting the trailers of the movie prime slots of television channels. The audience will have to wait and watch if this movie fits into the 100 crore bracket.

Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara will release on August 15 this year. Akshay's movies Rowdy Rathore and Houseful 2 also fell into the 100 crore bracket. Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara was shot in Mumbai and Oman. "I am happy that I am getting good offers, opportunity to work with good directors. I feel lucky, I thank God. I hope this film achieves 100 crore," Akshay said at a promotional event of the film.


The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Imran Khan and Sonali Bendre. Akshay plays the role of Dawood Ibrahim in the movie. "I enjoyed playing the bad guy, it was fun. Long back I had played a role of a bad guy in 'Ajnabe'. I would love to play bad guy again... it gives a high," he said.
