Despite Negative Reviews, Akshay Kumar Happy With Response For Boss

Boss has had a brilliant opening in the Box-office yesterday, October 16 and lead actor Akshay Kumar is happy with this response that he got on the first day of the film's release.

"Today (Wednesday) is the first day of release. Everything is going fine. I am very happy that it has got a good response," Akshay told reporters at the Gaity Galaxy theatre in Mumbai.

Boss, which is directed by Anthony D'Souza, released across 3000 screens in the country and registered a good occupancy, especially in the morning shows. "I am very thankful to the audience that they are watching the film and have loved it. That's what an artist wants," Akshay added.

Just before the release of his movie, Akshay had said that he is not bothered about Boss entering the 100 crore club. "I am not worried about being in 100 crore club. My film 'Oh My God' topped about 82-84 crore and was a success despite not being in the 100 crore club because it was made only in 12 crores," he said recently.
