Dilip Kumar Holds Amitabh Bachchan's Hand Tightly At Leelavati Hospital

We recently got the news that Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan visited the veteran actor Dilip Kumar who has been admitted in the Leelavati hospital since September 15. The 90-year-old, who was admitted as he suffered from a heart attack has been doing better from the past few days and Big B tells us that Dilip Kumar was cheerful when he went to meet him in the hospital. Big B also told us that Kumar gripped his hand tightly.

Dilip Kumar has even been shifted out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as he is recovering well. Senior Bachchan was happy to have a long chat with the veteran actor. "He seemed cheerful, at least when he saw me. Sairaji (Dilip Kumar's wife) warned me that he had been quite irritable and non-cooperative throughout the day, and so to excuse any kind of untoward behaviour that he may dole out to me. But he was gracious and kind," Big B said.

"But he smiled when he saw me and when I held his hand he gripped it like I would never be able to extricate myself from it - strong and full of strength," he added. Big B and Dilip Kumar acted together in the movie titled Shakti. Bachchan played Dilip Kumar's son in this movie.

Sources tell us that Dilip Kumar may be discharged from the hospital in a couple of days. We will surely update you on the latest news.
