A
visit
to
the
famed
Mehboob
Studio
made
megastar
Amitabh
Bachchan,
who
was
shooting
an
ad
film
there,
nostalgic.
The
actor
went
down
the
memory
lane,
and
reminisce
the
"prolific" legendary
filmmaker
Mehboob
Khan.
The
studio
was
built
by
Mehboob
Khan
in
the
year
1954.
The
actor
praised
the
late
filmmaker's
love
for
cinema.
"Never
trained
or
knowledged
himself
(Mehboob
Khan)
in
the
art
of
filmmaking,
was
not
educated
enough
to
speak
the
English
language,
was
a
paltry
seller
of
goods,
I
am
told,
and
worked
at
odd
jobs
in
the
studios
and
because
of
the
love
of
cinema
became
one
of
the
most
prolific
makers," Big
B
wrote
on
his
blog
late
night
on
Thursday.
"His
dynamic
confidence
knew
no
bounds.
He
accomplished
that
which
many
other
learned
did
not," he
added.
Amitabh
also
mentioned
his
personal
memories
attached
with
the
studio
and
says
he
has
lost
the
"count
of
the
number
of
films
that
I
have
shot
there".
"My
first
meeting
with
Sunil
Dutt
saheb,
when
I
came
for
a
screen
test
in
1968
through
the
courtesy
of
Nargisji,
in
the
dubbing
theatre,
where
he
was
dubbing
for
Padosan."
"The
studio,
buzzing
with
excitement
with
several
shootings,
and
the
stars
in
all
their
glory
drifting
in
and
out.
To
be
told
of
the
stories
of
the
greats
that
worked
and
spent
most
of
their
time
inside
-
Dilip
saheb,
Nargisji,
Sunil
Dutt,
Dev
Anand...the
list
just
goes
on," he
wrote.
