Amitabh Bachchan Raves About Son Abhishek's 100 Crore Film Dhoom 3!

Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra is doing roaring business at the box office. Abhi's papa Amitabh Bachchan is extremely proud that his son is part of the Dhoom franchise and tweeted about the same.

Amitabh Bachchan could not contain his joy about Dhoom 3 creating waves at the box office (in which Abhishek plays the role of Jai Dixit, a cop) and tweeted, "#Dhoom3 collects 100 + cr in first week end .. that is incredible and just out of the park !! Nearest to this number was 80 cr for CE ! And this little fellow Abhishek is now in it .. never imagined this would be so ..."

Big B further posted, "Abhishek on rare Sunday at Prateeksha, never imagined he would become what he is today!". This was accompanied by an old picture of Big B with Jr. B!

Dhoom 3 is very fast becoming the biggest grosser of 2013 by breaking records of Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone Chennai Express and Hrithik Roshan-Priyanka Chopra starrer Krrish 3. Having crossed Rs 100 crore mark in just three days, the film has become the fastest Rs 100 crore grosser in the domestic market.

Released in 700 screens in six foreign countries, Dhoom 3 has collected Rs 62.95 crores ($10.17 million) at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. It has become the first Hindi film to cross $10 million mark in the international markets.
