They
were
once
considered
as
the
evergreen
onscreen
couple
of
Bollywood.
Megastar
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
his
onscreen
ladylove
Rekha,
made
one
of
the
best
pairs
in
the
tinselville.
The
duo,
who
worked
last
in
the
movie
Silsila,
are
likely
to
come
together
for
Anees
Bazmee's
upcoming
comedy
film
Welcome
Back.
But,
the
Big
B
has
reportedly
refuted
all
such
claims.
A
while
ago,
we
heard
that
Producer
Firoz
Nadiadwala
and
director
Anees
Bazmee
were
reportedly
in
talks
with
Bachchan
and
Rekha
for
the
sequel
of
their
2007
hit
Welcome.
While
the
Big
B
was
approached
to
play
the
role
of
RDX
-
a
don
played
by
the
late
actor
Feroz
Khan
in
the
first
part,
while
Rekha
was
offered
to
play
the
role
of
a
wealthy
fashionista.
But,
as
per
Amitabh
Bachchan,
it's
not
true.
Talking
to
the
media
persons
at
a
do,
Amitabh
Bachchan
said,
"I
am
not
doing
it.
I
read
it
(media
report)
but
there
is
no
truth
to
it.
But
if
you
know
anybody
there
(at
YRF)
then
suggest
my
name.
As
today
it
is
difficult
to
get
work".
