Legendary
musician
AR
Rahman
is
all
set
for
his
India
road
tour
Rahmanishq
in
October,
the
first
such
event
in
two
decades.
Rahman
said
that
he
keeps
getting
motivated
to
make
more
and
more
music
because
of
the
love
he
receives
from
audiences.
"It
will
be
an
experience
of
music,
great
production,
joy
and
fun," Rahman
expressed
at
a
press
conference.
Interestingly
the
tour
is
set
to
take
place
in
cities
such
as
Kolkata,
Visakhapatnam,
Jaipur
and
Ahmadabad.
"I
always
wanted
to
go
to
cities
you
usually
don't
think
of.
You
generally
think
of
Delhi,
Mumbai
etc.
The
idea
was
to
meet
fans
in
these
cities",
he
explained.
Before
this
tour,
fans
in
Australia
will
get
to
see
a
Rahman
concert
which
will
be
held
in
Sydney
in
August.
Rahman
who
has
won
two
academy
awards
for
his
music
in
Slumdog
Millionaire
says
that
his
fans'
love
is
what
keeps
him
going.
"This
is
what
keeps
me
going.
Their
love
makes
me
want
to
make
more
and
more
music," Rahman
said
at
a
press
conference
on
his
road
tour
Rahmanishq.
According
to
the
musician,
everything
has
a
right
time.
He
says
that
it
is
so
good
that
this
tour
is
happening
now.
Rahman
admits
that
three
years
back,
he
didn't
even
know
about
his
future.
At
the
conference
on
the
tour,
he
also
brushed
up
on
aspects
such
as
ego
and
failure.
He
said,
"Any
true
artist
will
have
creative
ego,
without
that
your
work
can't
be
the
best.
But
you
have
to
be
at
war
with
your
personal
ego."
"If
failure
comes
due
to
non
preparation
or
lack
of
work,
then
you
feel
guilty.
If
it
comes
through
destiny
then
you
understand
that
it
just
turned
out
that
way,"
he
added.
During
Rahmanishq,
Rahman
will
also
be
joined
by
other
singers
like
Javed
Ali,
Neeti
Mohan,
Shweta
Pandit,
and
Harshdeep
Kaur.
