SRK's Chennai Express Gets Delayed

The release of superstar Shahrukh Khan's upcoming movie Chennai Express gets delayed by one day. As per the latest reports, Chennai Express that was supposed to release on August 8, will now be releasing on August 9th, 2013.

Film critic Taran Adarsh had first broke this news on Twitter. Confirming about the film Chennai Express's postponed release, Taran wrote on Twitter, "Breaking News: #ChennaiExpress will release on 9 August now. Not 8 August." On the other hand, Gaurav Verma of Disney UTV told the media, "We always wanted to come on Eid for Chennai Express and now the festival will be celebrated on 9th, which also happens to be a holiday, so it makes sense to release the film on that day."

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Chennai Express is the story about a man's journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey. Since it's a Rohit Shetty film, one can expect lots of action in it with a romantic twist. The movie also features Deepika Padukone in the leads.
